MailSlurp provides [SMTP and IMAP access](/guides/smtp-imap/) for every email address you create. To use mailboxes with applications such as Outlook, Exchange, Mail etc you first need to log into the [MailSlurp](/api/) dashboard and find the SMTP and IMAP settings:

Your account has a **unique username and password for SMTP and IMAP access**. Use these details and the server HOST and PORT shown to configure your client.
